Carrying on with our normal exercise routines has been almost impossible since the UK government announced a country-wide lockdown to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

However, there are all sorts of ways that you can crunch those calories and get your heart-pumping from home.

A stream of fitness influencers, gyms and experts have been offering free classes, workouts and exercise extras to help us keep hold of some semblance of fitness.

But what about an exercise bike?

We know that they’re pretty hefty pieces of kit but they’re brilliant for the entire family, fun to use and brilliant for helping you keep to your fitness routine and blow off some steam indoors.

You can get weights involved to make the workout even more exciting or place the bike in front of an online spinning class for extra motivation.

And if you’re thinking that a home exercise bike is going to set you back over £500 then fear not, we’ve rounded up five of our favourites that are all under £200.

We know that’s still a big expense at the moment but if you’re keen to prioritise health and fitness at the moment then we think you’ll agree that it’s money well-spent.
