Berlin police detain protesters in May Day tussle
STORY: Late night scuffles broke out after the mostly peaceful march through the Neukoelln and Kreuzberg districts ended in the Oranienplatz square, where several people were seen being detained by officers, amid the sounds of breaking glass and fireworks going off nearby.
Earlier in the day, police put the number of participants of the march at 10,000. According to police, the 11 detentions were made during the course of the day and late evening.
