Benny Blanco Had the Perfect Response to Selena Gomez’s ‘ELLE’ Cover
It didn’t take long for Selena Gomez’s boyfriend, Benny Blanco, to chime in on her latest feat: earning a spot as one of ELLE’s Women in Hollywood alongside her Emilia Pérez co-stars Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón.
Soon after Sel shared their shared the ELLE cover on Instagram, Benny left a sweet comment that read, “perfection.”
Luckily enough, the support went both ways this week. The producer was named one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive, which the actor celebrated on her Instagram Story. Posting a photo from Benny’s shoot, she wrote, “Not only do you love me unconditionally, you always get me my Taco Bell Mexican pizza.”
She also tagged the celeb in a second Instagram Story where she shared the following quote from writer William C. Hannan: “I still haven’t figured out how to sit across from you, and not be madly in love with everything you do.”
In his People interview, Benny spoke highly of his girlfriend, whom he has been dating for over a year. “I’m a real morning person,” he said. “It’s my favorite time to spend with Sel, because we both wake up really early. It’s like our moment before the rest of the world wakes up. I have a true best friend that I get to do everything in the world with, and every day is the best day of my life.”
While the Disney Channel alum didn’t speak about her partner in her ELLE interview, she *did* discuss the immense joy she feels as she promotes Emilia Pérez, a project that has changed her life.
“Being in this moment with these women [talking] about a movie that’s so important and moving and beautiful, it’s been a wow moment for me,” Selena said. “I definitely didn’t expect all of what’s happening. It just feels like a time in my life that I’m extremely grateful for. Honestly, every day I wake up thinking, How did I get to do this?”
