Bennett Fire Smoke Billows Over Grass Valley

A local man in Grass Valley, California, kept his eyes to the sky on August 25 as large clouds of smoke from the Bennett Fire drifted across the region.

Recording from near his home, Nico Krause’s footage show plumes of smoke encroaching on the California town.

The fire began in Grass Valley on August 25, according to local reports. “I had just seen the notification on Twitter about the fire, but was just barely outside of the evacuation zone by a few meters down the road,” Krause said.
