Ben Wong, Alice Chan develop chemistry in "As Time Goes By"

25 Jun – Actors Ben Wong and Alice Chan recently admitted that they enjoyed working together again for the third time in the new drama, "As Time Goes By" (previously reported as "Good Days").

As reported on On CC, the two stars, who have worked together in past dramas "The Ghetto-Fabulous Lady" and "Divine Retribution", shared that they have developed a lot of chemistry even before filming of the new drama started.

"In this series, Alice is always angry at me whenever we see each other. Since my character can't tell her the truth, he just takes the blame," said Ben.

Alice admitted that it was very exhausting having to yell all the time in the drama.

"It's hard playing a character who hates someone for so many years and not being able to let go," she said.

In the drama, Alice plays a girl who had a drunken one-night stand with one of her childhood friends (Max Cheung) back when they were young. After finding out that Max regretted his decision, Ben decides to help his friend and takes the blame instead - maintaining the lie for 30 years.

The drama, which also serves as TVB Producer Poon Ka Tak's last project before leaving the company, premiered on 24 June.
