It’s the most wonderful time of the year (aka when we start resenting the summer heat and decide that it’s OK to look forward to Christmastime). Ben & Jerry’s isn’t wasting any time getting into the holiday spirit, because it has unveiled new Gingerbread Cookie Dough Chunks and Cinnamon Bun Dough Chunks.

It was over a year ago that Ben & Jerry’s first introduced its half-pound bags of Cookie Dough Chunks in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Then, earlier this year, the Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Chunks and Half Baked Chunks flavors were added to the lineup. So the two new flavors are the first season-inspired ones, so they’re a must-have this winter.

The Gingerbread Cookie Dough Chunks are made with classic gingerbread spices, like ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. The limited batch has festive packaging that’s decked out with a gingerbread house and holiday lights, so there’s no doubt it’ll fill your stomach with cheer. The Cinnamon Bun Dough Chunks are also a limited-edition variety, but these are even richer with cinnamon, to make it taste like the iced treat came right out of the oven.

“There’s no better way to ignore the heat and start planning for season’s greetings,” Jody Eley, Ben & Jerry’s innovation manager, said in a press release. “The Gingerbread Cookie Dough Chunks are like building a holiday house in your mouth – the sweetness and spices are just like you remember as a kid. The Cinnamon Bun Dough Chunks will get you in the mood for special weekend brunches, and they’re vegan!”

Both of the new dough chunks are safe to eat raw, so it’s as easy as taking the 8-ounce bags out of the freezer and enjoying the bites. Who says cookie dough can’t be a snack? It’s the ultimate snack.

There’s no need to wait until December to start embracing the Christmas flavors, because the Gingerbread Cookie Dough Chunks and Cinnamon Bun Dough Chunks are available in supermarkets and participating Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops nationwide. Each bag ranges from $3.99 to $5.49, depending on location. On your mark, get set, snack away!
