From Digital Spy

Ben Affleck has opened up about reuniting with Matt Damon for their new movie.

The Batman actor will reunite with his Good Will Hunting co-star in the forthcoming medieval drama The Last Duel.

Written by the duo with Nicole Holofcener and directed by Ridley Scott, The Last Duel tells the story of a real-life trial by combat which took place in the 14th century and also stars Star Wars' Adam Driver and Killing Eve star Jodie Comer.

Speaking recently, Affleck — who plays King Charles VI in the movie — opened up about working with Damon again on the film and its screenplay.

As well as dubbing the experience "enriching", the Gone Girl star said the pair's history together also contributes to the "quality" of the work.

So, let's hope it's cracking.

"Finishing up this movie with you, it's so much more enriching to be working together, to be working with someone I know and love, and the fact I want to see and spend time with and hang out with [you]," Affleck said (via Den of Geek).

"Realising that time goes by and how you spend your day defines what your life is going to be, and the quality of that time, is really important.

"And it contributes, I think, to the quality of your work."
