Ben Affleck Dives into Work with Matt Damon on Set of a Stella Artois Commercial amid Jennifer Lopez Divorce
Affleck, who continues to work out his divorce from Lopez, was seen directing an ad also starring David Beckham
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are collaborating once again — this time on a project with added star power from David Beckham.
The Argo actor was seen directing Damon and Beckham on the set of a commercial for Stella Artois, according to TMZ. The images, captured at Griffin Club Los Angeles on Oct. 15, show the trio filming on a tennis court, with Damon and Beckham dressed in sporty ensembles.
A representative for Stella did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
Affleck, whose film directing credits include Argo, Gone Baby Gone, The Town and Air, was also seen stepping out of a car with an iced coffee in hand when he arrived to the set. Later, he was spotted smiling while standing with crew members.
The actor and Jennifer Lopez are continuing to work out their divorce after Lopez filed in August.

Affleck currently has multiple projects in the works, including many through Artists Equity, the production company he co-owns with Damon.
Earlier this year, he finished filming an upcoming sequel to his 2016 action film The Accountant. He also has two other movies, including RIP, which costars Damon.
Beckham and Damon have each previously worked with Stella Artois, an Anheuser-Busch brand.
In a cheeky campaign titled “A Taste Worth More” from March, the professional athlete sat at a bar while patrons seemingly cared more about beer than meeting him.
In 2023, Damon appeared with Zoe Saldaña, Ludacris and Jeremy Allen White in a commercial for Stella’s “Let’s Do Dinner” contest, which benefited his nonprofit Water.org. The beer brand has had a partnership with the organization since 2015.
The exact subject matter of the Affleck, Damon and Beckham's commercial is not clear. Affleck has reluctantly shared parts of his recovery from alcoholism.
He told The Hollywood Reporter in 2023 that he became "out of no desire of my own — one of the poster boys for actor alcoholism and recovery and the whole thing."

But sharing his story has had a positive side, he told PEOPLE in 2020. “It’s liberating and kind of freeing not to have a secret or to feel shame about something."
“My life has been full of blessings, and I’ve had some struggles," he added at the time. "Those things make up who we are.”
