Don't expect to see original Below Deck cast member Eddie Lucas joining the Med for a crossover season.

The bosun is back for what he's calling a "redemption season" with Captain Lee Rosbach on the Hayu series, leading an all-new deck crew as the super yacht My Seanna caters to the uber-rich in the Caribbean.

Lucas wouldn't rule out coming back to the Below Deck franchise again in the future, but he definitively refused to work for Captain Sandy Yawn in the equally-popular Below Deck Mediterranean spin-off.

"I don't think, of the episodes I've seen with Captain Sandy, I don't think her leadership style and mine would be very harmonious," he told Digital Spy exclusively. "I think the way she micromanages a lot of ways, that wouldn't really work for me."

Lucas went on to describe the differing leadership styles of Captain Lee and Captain Sandy, at least as far as he's observed.

"With Captain Lee and I, he trusts me in what I'm doing and how I do it," the bosun said. "I really appreciate that and I work well that way. Captain Sandy, I've never met her and I don't know what kind of person she is or anything like that.

"What I've seen is that she doesn't seem to really trust a lot of her crew members and always seems to have got her hands in a lot of pots."

Below Deck Mediterranean is just one of its most controversial seasons yet, where Captain Sandy clashed with her now-former Chief Stewardess Hannah Ferrier at last week's reunion over whether or not Hannah brought drugs on board.

If you're behind on your Below Deck: Med drama, you can catch everything that led up to Captain Sandy and Hannah's showdown on hayu and hayu on NOWTV right now.

All seasons and every episode of Below Deck (including the new season 8) will be available to stream and download in the UK and Ireland on hayu and hayu on NOWTV from Tuesday (November 3), following its premiere on Bravo on tonight (November 2).
