Bees invade soccer pitch in Bolivia

Regional teams Atletico Warnes and Pailon were playing their second half in Santa Cruz when bees started to swarm around players in the Edgar Pena Gutierrez stadium.

According to local media, some players were stung but no serious injuries were reported. Pitch officials used smoke to draw bees away from the field.

The sting of the game was too much for Pailon, who were beaten decisively 2-0 by Atletico.
