A group of bees created a buzz as they returned to their hive in New South Wales on May 14.
This footage, captured by Murray Prior, shows the bees flying back to the hive at Nguurruu, a biodynamic farm and home-stay in the Southern Tablelands.
“Busy air traffic this afternoon at the hive with the workers bringing in their sweet cargo,” Prior posted on Instagram. “A few rough landings too!”
Talking to Storyful, Prior said, “We have one hive at the moment and plan on getting a few more in the spring. Bees are essential to the pollination of about 70 percent of our food. Without bees, we have no life.”
