Bear Spotted Atop Northern California Home After Tree Falls on Roof
A bear was spotted on the roof of a Magalia, California, home on January 5 after a tree fell onto the home following strong winds in the area.
Kyle Thomas recorded this video, and told Storyful the bear was in the tree when it fell on his roof.
“He stayed around for some time,” Thomas said. “He got into the trash cans.”
The video shows the bear wandering around the roof and Thomas can be heard sternly encouraging the bear to leave. The National Weather Service warned of strong wind gusts up to 50-60 mph, high rain rates, and localized flooding on January 5. Credit: Kyle Thomas via Storyful
