“The Bear”: Chef Carmy Dishes Out His 'Non-Negotiables' as He Strives for Restaurant Greatness in Season 3 Trailer

"That's how restaurants of the highest level operate," says Chef Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) as chaos erupts in the new season of 'The Bear'

Season 3 of The Bear promises nothing short of chaos.

On May 29, FX released the official trailer for the upcoming new season of the beloved series, which will premiere on Thursday, June 27.

The video begins with a view of Jeremy Allen White (Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto) walking into The Bear, as he says in a voiceover, "What if I wanted to open a restaurant? They're hard, and they're brutal, and they're specific, but I know how to do it."

After declaring that it will be a "different kind of restaurant," he is seen standing in front of his deceased brother, Michael "Mikey" Berzatto ( Jon Bernthal), who asks him, "What will we call this place?"

As the restaurant's logo appears on the screen, the music intensifies, and Carmy is seen discussing a list of "non-negotiables" with his sister Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto (Abby Elliott).

"That's how restaurants of the highest level operate," he tells her.

The list soon becomes a topic of conversation for all the staff, including Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).

The video also teases a possible reconciliation between Carmy and Claire (Molly Gordon) — who walked away from him after hearing him vent about their relationship at the end of season 2.

"Carmy loves you," Neil (Matty Matheson) is seen telling her.

Later in the clip, viewers also get a glimpse of Sydney looking at her computer after she was sent a "partnership agreement" from Carmy. As the music begins to slow down, fans get a look at the chaos inside the kitchen, including a birthday celebration for Carmy, a menu change, and rising restaurant expenses.

"You need to calm down," Sydney then tells Carmy, who asks, "This is what you wanted, right?"

An official synopsis teases that everyone will do "what it takes" to make sure The Bear reaches "the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business.”

“Their quest for culinary excellence will propel the crew to new levels and stress the bonds that hold the restaurant together. As the team grows in size, each member will strive to reach a greater level of service within their role," the synopsis adds.

"In the restaurant industry, you’re never on solid ground, and with that ever-changing landscape comes new challenges and opportunities," it continues. "Our chefs have learned that every second counts, but this season we’ll find out if they have what it takes to make it to tomorrow."
