Bea Alonzo shares famous lines with Star Cinema
12 Jun – Seeing that her upcoming movie, "Kasal" will be the studio's first 25th anniversary offering, actress Bea Alonzo recently dedicated a long post for her Star Cinema family.
The actress, who has starred in numerous Star Cinema movies - most of them box office hits - took to Instagram recently and published a collage of her top movie characters and their popular lines, writing, "Here are some of the lines that I was so privileged to have uttered and some of the characters that I was lucky to have been given by Star Cinema."
"For 15 years, I have been blessed to have worked with the people behind this company. Most of the things I know (if not all) about acting and about good work ethics, I know because of these very patient people. They are not only friends. To me, they are FAMILY," she added.
"This post is for them. I may not be as demonstrative as I should be but I love my Star cinema family. I guess, all I really want to say is thank you. Thank you for all the opportunities, the patience and most of all, thank you for the LOVE... Happy 25th anniversary!!! Cheers!"
The five lines include a scene in the movie "4 Sisters and a Wedding", where her character Bobbie argued with sister Alex (Angel Locsin), and said, "Pero, bakit parang kasalanan ko." ("But why is that my fault?"); as well as the famous line uttered by Basha in "One More Chance" to Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) - "Kasi ang totoo, umaasa pa rin akong sabihin mo na sana ako pa rin. Ako na lang. Ako na lang ulit." ("As a matter of fact, I still hope you say that it's me. It's just me. Only me.)
The other three lines are:
"Hindi ako perfect and kahit kailan, hindi ko hihilingin na maging perfect ka. Ang hihilingin ko, subukan mong baguhin ang sarili mo para maramdaman mo na karapat-dapat ka. But you never tried."
