Bea Alonzo learned a lot from previous heartbreak

12 Aug – It looks like Bea Alonzo has totally moved on from her heartbreak, as she expressed her thoughts about her previous experience of being "ghosted" by her partner.

As reported on PEP, the actress who spoke about the subject during an Instagram Live interview on 10 August, stated that while it was a painful experience to have to go through, it was also the most empowering and beautiful thing to have happened to a woman.

"Because you pick up the pieces. And while you are picking up the pieces, you discover so much about yourself," she said.

She also stated that she didn't know that the one thing that could "kill" her could actually bring her back to life.

"I've never felt so alive. I'm rediscovering myself right now. I've always been in a relationship, that's the thing, [so] it's very liberating that, right now, I'm setting my goals just for me. I don't have to think of another person," she said.

Her words were different from what she had said about the issue back in January, calling what had happened to her as "disrespectful"

It was back in July last year that Alonzo revealed online that she has had enough, following rumours of romance between her boyfriend Gerald Anderson and his "Between Maybes" co-star Julia Barretto. She later revealed that Anderson had been "ghosting" her, meaning that he had just stopped talking to her instead of asking for a breakup.

It is noted that both Anderson and Barretto have denied any romantic relationship.
