Bats at the Walkabout Wildlife Park in Calga, New South Wales, had a little trouble sharing a yogurt treat on July 11.
The bats can be seen scrambling to the yogurt cup, moving each other out of the way, screeching, and generally not waiting their turn as they try to get some of the snack.
Curran wrote in the Instagram post, “yoghurt parties are the best! These bats are not pets, they are specially licensed education animals who live a pampered life in a dedicated wildlife sanctuary.”
In the same post, she said the bats are only handled by vaccinated and trained wildlife trainers. Credit: Sarah’s Bats via Storyful
