Bath time with baby: Playful scenes as herd of elephants take a dip in Sri Lanka

The stunning view of an elephant herd bathing in a river in Sri Lanka on 25 August will leave you in awe of these magnificent creatures. The sight was seen in Ehetuwewa, in the country's North Western Province. Particularly cute is the sight of two calves playing in the water, with one almost entirely submerged apart from their trunk, and the other trying to balance on top of the first as it rolls around. The entire herd appear to enjoy their dip in the river, which is enclosed by forest -- helping them beat the heat of the day.
