Barricades Fill Washington Streets Ahead of Inauguration

Fencing and barricades filled the streets of Washington near government buildings ahead of the inauguration of Joe Biden as president of the United States, amid security concerns following the January 6 storming of the Capitol.

Around 25,000 National Guard members from several states were expected to be in the capital to support the security of the inauguration on January 20.
