The Band Perry's Neil Perry Is Married! Inside His Stunning Wyoming Ranch Wedding to Sofia Sclafani (Exclusive)
The singer and Sclafani eloped to the picturesque Brush Creek Ranch "halfway between California and Tennessee where we both grew up" the singer tells PEOPLE
Neil Perry of country trio The Band Perry has eloped — exchanging vows with his now-wife Sofia Sclafani on September 4 in Wyoming.
As Neil, 34, explains exclusively to PEOPLE, the couple moved to Nashville at the beginning of 2023, shortly after getting engaged, so he could work on writing and recording his debut solo album.
"With all the life changes happening at once, we decided to take our wedding as an opportunity to slow down," he says. "We booked a week-long stay at Brush Creek Ranch outside of Saratoga, Wyoming, halfway between California and Tennessee where we both grew up."
He continues: "For the first time in 21 months, we turned our phones on airplane mode and enjoyed our favorite pastimes — riding, fly fishing, wing shooting, taking photos and sipping red wine as the sun set."

On Sep. 4, 2024, the couple got married in a quiet ceremony.
"The day began clear as can be, not a cloud in sight, until moments before our outdoor ceremony," Neil recalls. "We ended up waiting in separate cars for an hour until the good-luck rain passed. The storm blessed us with the most beautiful light during our ‘I dos’. "
Once the skies cleared, the couple exchanged their vows, with Neil telling Sofia, “No moment with you has been less than the best moment of my life … from testing out my shellfish allergy on a Mississippi road trip, to deciding to run off to Wyoming — just the two of us — to start forever, we have done 'us' in a way only we can.”
Neil's vows touched on Sofia's beauty, with the country star telling his bride, "The dimples in your cheeks when you smile, your fiery spirit and quick tongue, your loyalty, your surprisingly cheesy taste in music, your principled nature — I love all the things that make you, you.”
"Not a day goes by that I don’t thank the lord for spilling all his blessings on me. You calm my unsteadiness," he added in his vows. "You simplify the chaos. You fan the flames of my purpose and encourage the better angels of my nature.”
Neil ended his vows with a promise to Sofia: “I will rein in my wild horses. I will drink less coffee. I will love you madly and loyally.”
The morning after their wedding, the two participated in a ropes course where, Neil says, "we put it all on the line 40 feet up in the sky."

"We spent the rest of the week snacking on our vanilla buttercream wedding cake and walking on our newlywed cloud," he adds. "Friday morning, we traded in our boots for books before heading to the airport for our honeymoon."
Neil announced his engagement to Sofia in January 2023, sharing photos from the proposal on social media.
"Forever kind of love, 1.2.23," Neil captioned the post, which features sweet photos of the couple in the snow in Utah, the ring and their cabin.
Neil — who has largely kept his relationship under wraps — was the third in his band, which also includes siblings Kimberly and Reid, to get married. Reid was engaged and married in May 2023, while Kimberly revealed she secretly married Johnny Costello in 2019 through an Instagram post.
