“Bachelor in Paradise” is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon.

Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise” aired in 2023 ended with two engagements and another relationship, though none of the couples are still together.

Season 21 of “The Bachelorette” premiered on Monday, led by 26-year-old Jenn Tran, who is the first-ever Asian lead of the franchise. Tran was originally a contestant on Season 28 of “The Bachelor,” which concluded in March with 29-year-old Joey Graziadei proposing to 26-year-old Kelsey Anderson. The two are still engaged.

“The Golden Bachelor,” a spinoff focusing on older contestants, premiered in September of 2023 and ended with the engagement of 72-year-old Gerry Turner and 70-year-old Theresa Nist. Their wedding was broadcast as an ABC special titled “The Golden Wedding” in January, though the pair announced their divorce in April.

Another spinoff titled “The Golden Bachelorette” will premiere on Sept. 18 led by Joan Vassos, a 61-year-old school administrator from Rockville, Md. She was a contestant on “The Golden Bachelor” but left the season during Week 3 to tend to a family emergency.

ABC announced the “Bachelor in Paradise” renewal during Disney’s presentation at the summer 2024 Television Critics Association press tour.
