Babies Named Johnny Cash and June Carter Get Joint Photoshoot After They're Born on Same Day (Exclusive)
June Carter Clark and Johnny Cash Davis were both born on April 10 at the same hospital, just hours apart
Two babies named after June Carter and Johnny Cash and born in the same hospital on the same day have now cemented their lifelong bond with a shared photoshoot.
Moms Sophie Clark and Nicole Davis each gave birth on April 10 at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children in Alabama. Clark, 22, welcomed her daughter June Carter Clark at 2:30 p.m. and that night at 9:50 p.m., Davis and her husband welcomed their son Johnny Cash Davis.
Clark, June's mom, says she and her husband settled on their baby's name because, "We thought the name June was beautiful and I wanted a sentimental middle name and my husband's name is Carter, so we chose June Carter."

She tells PEOPLE that, after she gave birth to June, her husband's uncle met baby Johnny's dad — who was wearing a Johnny Cash shirt — in the elevator.
"My uncle told him we had a baby named June Carter, and he said they had actually just had a baby named Johnny Cash," Clark recounts.
She continues: "I was so excited and couldn’t believe it! I told my husband, 'I'm going to find that baby.' "
Clark and her husband then walked to Nicole's delivery room, where they asked the nurses to facilitate an introduction.

When the family discovered that their babies shared a common bond, they ultimately decided the coincidence was worthy of a joint photo in the hospital.
"[The nurse] told them about us and they got baby Johnny Cash and brought him out to get a picture with his little soulmate, June Carter," Clark says.
After both couples left the hospital, they became friends on Facebook and continue to keep in touch — so much so that, on May 4, they got baby June and Johnny together for another, more professional photoshoot.
As Sophie tells PEOPLE, the babies even wore costumes to recreate an iconic photo of their namesakes, who were married from 1968 until their deaths in 2003.
"We plan to keep these babies in touch over their life because it’s too big of a coincidence not to," says Sophie.
