Azri Iskandar is still adjusting to life as a single man
20 May – Following news of their divorce, Azri Iskandar recently stated that he will not say no to the idea of reconciling with ex-wife Ellie Suriaty.
The actor, who spoke to mStar recently, shared that he is still in the adjustment period after the two of them ended their marriage earlier this month.
"I accept this fate, but I am still in a state where I am unsure if I really am divorced. I am adjusting. I have to accept the fact that I am single again," he said.
Azri also expressed hope that the fans will wish both him and Ellie happiness.
As to whether there is a chance for them to remarry, Azri said that he has no issue with that unless if they are both married to another.
"I still consider Ellie a good friend and a mother of our children. She has contributed a lot in my life," he said, referring to the time when the actress took care of him while he was suffering from depression from being fired from his movie, "Leftenan Adnan" in 2000.
In a previous interview, Ellie revealed that the two ended their marriage due to irreconcilable differences. The actress said that the decision was made after much deliberation and that she has moved out of their shared home following their divorce.
The couple have two children from their marriage of 19 years.
