Aznil Nawawi angered by illegal use of his photos
30 Dec – Aznil Nawawi recently expressed his annoyance over people misusing his images to sell their products.
On 26 December, the TV personality shared a photo in which he supposedly promoted a therapy socks brand, and compared it to the real image, which is of him holding his Certificate of Achievement given by the Brand Celebrity Awards.
"It's a scam!" he captioned it. "Do not be fooled by this sock ghouls!"
Speaking to Berita Harian about the incident, Aznil, known to fans as Pak Nil, stated that he has no qualms taking legal action against the perpetrator.
"If we just warn them, they will do it again. If not the same person, it would be someone different. Sue them and it's over," he stated.
Pak Nil added that such a thing has happened to him multiple times, and warns the fans not to be deceived by such scams.
"I would advise you to follow my social media accounts to know what businesses that I am truly involved in," he added.
