Azeris celebrate Nagorno-Karabakh deal signing

Azerbaijanis celebrated in the early hours of Tuesday (November 10) after Armenia and Azerbaijan, along with Russia, said they signed a deal to end the military conflict over the Nagorno-Karabakh region, after more than a month of bloodshed.

Several thousand people are feared killed in the recent flare-up. Three ceasefires have failed in the past six weeks and Azerbaijan's superior weaponry and battlefield gains had reduced its incentive to seek a lasting peace deal with Armenia.
