Awaab Ishak’s family felt ‘trapped’

The family of Awaab Ishak have branded their treatment by Rochdale Boroughwide Housing as ‘racist’ over its failure to rehouse them or treat damp and mould in their home. Speaking through solicitor Kelly Darlington, the family’s comments follow an inquest ruling that damp and mouldy conditions led to the two-year-old toddler’s death.
