The Australian Defence Force said a navy crew rescued nine campers and a dog who were isolated by flooding southwest of Sydney on March 24.
The group, which included a nine-year-old boy, were cut off by rising floodwaters in the Wollondilly Forest, officials said.
Local reports said the group had been stranded for six days after heavy rain caused a creek to flood and washed away their supplies.
