Teams from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) assisted with a COVID-19 vaccination rollout in Dubbo, New South Wales, in an attempt to stem the emerging Delta strain on August 21.
“ADF has deployed up to 70 clinicians and support personnel in 5 Vaccination Outreach Teams joining together with NSW Health staff,” the ADF stated.
Starting in West Dubbo, the teams planned to fan out across Western NSW to provide regional, remote and vulnerable communities with COVID-19 vaccinations.
