A couple from New South Wales have been spending their time during the pandemic productively, building an old-style carousel in their yard for their grandchildren.
Video by Jacqueline Hoffman shows work progressing nicely on her and her husband’s creation.
Speaking to Storyful, Hoffman emphasized that the project was environmentally friendly. “This is made from mostly discarded materials,” she said.
Among the recycled materials being used are trampolines, an old pram, parts of a clothes dryer, and a birdbath.
“It is still a work in progress,” the Pumpenbil resident added. “There will also be a moon seat and an airplane.” Credit: Jacqueline Hoffman via Storyful
