An Australian snake catcher saved a “highly venomous” eastern small-eyed snake from a pool filter in Tewantin, Queensland, as seen in a video posted on August 31.
Snake catcher Luke Huntley said the creature – which he described as “highly venomous” had been "sucked into a pool filter and thought to be dead.
“But after I got him out he spat the water up and survived! I nursed him back to health and then released him back into the bush,” Huntley told Storyful.
“These are the jobs I live for!” Huntley said in his Facebook caption. Credit: Luke Huntley via Storyful
