Aurora Chaser Gets Amazing 'Explosion' of Color Outside Holiday Rental in Iceland

Vincent Ledvina, a self-described “aurora chaser”, was treated to an “explosion” of colorful northern lights in Iceland, overnight on January 13-14.

Ledvina told Storyful he caught the magnificent sight in a timelapse video outside a holiday rental near Seljalandsfoss.

“The aurora was extremely strong that night! The video was captured around 12-12:30 am and shows about 30 minutes of aurora evolution,” he said.

“This was the perfect finale to our Iceland trip, and my friends who had never seen the aurora were treated to a solid show. Now they understand why I’m obsessed,” Ledvina added on Twitter. Credit: Vincent Ledvina via Storyful
