The new mum also opted to showed off her stretch marks during her pregnancy with Isaac, which prompted other women to share their own on social media.

“The reason I had posted that original photo, I had just announced that I was pregnant and I thought then I was gonna feel good, and I didn’t. I felt, I just felt terrible,” a emotional Graham later said of her revealing pregnancy post.

“That morning I was like, get it together, Ashley. There’s other women out there that are going through the same thing as you. Why don’t you have a dialogue with them?”

Later, the model, turned to the social media platform to share a frank message about the realities of her postpartum body, explaining “no one talks about the recovery” aspect of pregnancy and birth.

Alongside an empowering image of her post-birth body, she continued: “No one talks about the recovery and healing (yes even the messy parts) new mums go through. I wanted to show you guys that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies!

“It’s been tough, but my friend Chelsea @cmrh and ceo at @fridamom is making waves and starting honest conversations.

“It’s unbelievable the obstacles we still face talking about what women really go through. All their stuff she sent me has been a life saver.”

The new motherhood updates came as the model earlier revealed she had given birth to her first child at home, in a birthing pool.

In an episode of her podcast, Pretty Big Deal, the couple also introduced their son to the world, while the new mum opened up about her birth experience, telling viewers she’d felt inspired.

“Now, I have to say now though that I gave birth and I did it naturally and I felt everything, I feel like there's nothing I can't do,” she explained.
