Ashley Chu to leave "Scoop" temporarily due to scandal
30 Apr – Rumour has it that Ashley Chu has been "rested" from her TV programme following her scandal with married actor Jackson Lai.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who has set her Instagram on private and declined to talk to the media after she was caught on a rendezvous with her "Brain-Eating Zombie" co-star earlier this week, reportedly will not return on the entertainment programme "Scoop" in order to quell the anger that had sparked from the previous news.
However, its producer Cheung Ka Ling has given no response to the rumours just yet.
On the other hand, the media recently turned to Ashley's co-host and friend Bryan Pun, who declined to make comments about the actress' scandal.
"My personal feeling about the issue is not related. It's up to the parties to resolve it," he said, adding that everybody should give the actress some space so that she could make her next move.
It is noted that "Scoop" made no mention of the said scandal in the previous show.
On the other hand, TVB Executive Virginia Lok has denied that the company was planning to hold a press conference about the case.
