Ash From Spanish Wildfire Washes Up on Malaga Beach

Firefighters continued working to contain a wildfire burning in the Malaga region of Spain on September 14, as the fire reached ​​over 7,780 hectares, according to officials.

Around a thousand personnel and more than 50 aircraft were deployed to fight the blaze, with authorities saying around 1,600 people remained evacuated.

One firefighter died last week in the effort to control the fire, according to local news, and two more were injured on Sunday.
