Arrivals for FIFA World Cup Show Inside Fan Zones and Accommodation
Soccer fans continued to arrive in Doha, Qatar, on Saturday, 19 November, ahead of the start of the World Cup, video posted online shows.
Footage shared on Twitter by sports writer Alex Bishop shows mini soccer pitches set-up in communal areas at the Fan Village Cabins Free Zone, near Doha. He also gave a tour inside one of the portacabins in which guests sleep.
One night in a fan village cabin starts at $207 a night, according to the World Cup’s Official Accommodation Agency.
