Army Starts Fuel Deliveries Amid UK Supply Disruption

British soldiers began delivering fuel to petrol stations on October 4 amid a “shortage of HGV drivers” that had led to widespread supply disruption.

The UK government said on October 2 that around 200 personnel were being deployed from October 4 to help ease the disruption.
