Protesters took to the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin, for the fourth day straight on August 26 since the police shooting of Jacob Blake on August 23.
An armored Kenosha County Sheriff vehicle approached a crowd of protesters in a park near the courthouse before hitting a car that reportedly belonged to a local media outlet.
Two people were shot dead and one was wounded during late night protests in Kenosha’s downtown area on the night of August 25. A 17-year-old from Illinois was arrested and charged over the shootings, according to reports.
Protests first erupted in Kenosha on August 23 after a video circulated on social media showing Blake being shot by a police officer multiple times from behind.
The officer who shot Blake was identified as Rusten Sheskey, who had been a law enforcement officer with Kenosha Police Department for seven years, according to Kenosha Police. Credit: Richie Requena via Storyful
