Arlington Families Assess Damage From Tornado and Thunderstorms

Several structures were found collapsed and damaged in Arlington, Texas, on Wednesday, November 25, after a destructive tornado and thunderstorm passed through the area on Tuesday night.

According to the City of Arlington, homes, businesses, and at least four apartment complexes suffered damage in the form of torn roofs, broken windows, and structural collapses.

Crews are working to clear debris while utilities companies are restoring power and gas to affected neighborhoods, the city reported.

Footage posted by Twitter user @MsBWinkle shows the destruction in her backyard after the storm swept through on Tuesday.

“We are without power with no estimated time of repair as are several neighborhoods hit by the storm,” the user told Storyful early Wednesday afternoon. Credit: @MsBWinkle via Storyful
