Arik Armstead Is Cheered on by Daughters Ayla and Amiria and Wife Mindy at Super Bowl 2024
The family of four had a fun time, even if the outcome wasn't what they hoped for
Arik Armstead had his favorite supporters on hand to cheer him on during the big game.
The San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle, 30, was supported at Super Bowl LVIII by wife Mindy Armstead and their two little girls — Ayla, 20 months, and Amiri, who turned 3 earlier this week.
The mom of two shared scenes from their day, from them walking into the game to having fun with other families from the team at their seats. In one photo captured from the day, they're down at the sidelines, with Arik holding Ayla, who checks out the action over Dad's shoulder.
In other photos from the game, Mindy holds Ayla in her arms, with another team wife calling her "Super Bowl Mom of the Year."
Reposting the shot, she joked, "Have kids they said."

The family of four celebrated together as the 49ers won the NFC Championship in late January.
"Watching @arikarmstead play in the Super Bowl vs the chiefs was cool as a fiancée but getting a rematch where my babies can cheer on their daddy with me… #iconic #superbowl #nfl #goniners," Mindy wrote, referring to the two teams facing off in the big game in 2020.
The videos on Instagram showed the joyful moments she and the girls joined the NFL player on the field to celebrate their last big win.
Speaking with PEOPLE in June 2023, Armstead opened up about his life as a father of two.
"I play football, so it's a lot of testosterone and a lot of masculine ego and energy, and all that around, so when I come home and get to be a dad, I get to be softer and I enjoy that side," he shared.
"There's a lot of dads on the team. I get to see a different side of my teammates too, and being dads. It's a lot of fun."
