Ariana Grande Positions video: Pop star takes over White House with all-female team in election-themed video

Ariana Grande has gone from pop star to president in her latest video for her new song Positions.

The singer shared the new video, which was directed by Dave Meyers, this morning. It shows the singer, 27, sweeping through the corridors of the White House flanked by an all-female team of aides.

At one point, she takes a seat inside the Oval Office to sign papers - before kicking back and putting her feet up on her desk.

Grande is also seen in various other areas of the White House - including a bedroom, a hallway and even the kitchen.

The video also features a cameo from Grande’s dogs, who she walks across the White House lawn.

Positions is a love song about Grande’s willingness to please her partner.

“Switching the positions for you, cooking in the kitchen and I’m in the bedroom, I’m in the Olympics, way I’m jumping through hoops,” she sings on the track.

Grande is dating Los Angeles real estate agent Dalton Gomez.

It is the first single from her upcoming, as-yet-untitled, sixth album , which is expected to be released next week. Earlier this week, she teased the artwork for the single.

Grande’s most recent record, Thank U, Next, arrived in February last year and topped the charts around the world, including in both the UK and US.

This year, she has released two duets.

The pandemic-themed Stuck With U, a collaboration with Justin Bieber, arrived in May, while later that month Grande teamed up with Lady Gaga for the dance-infused Rain On Me.
