The only thing that's making the wait for the Wicked premiere bearable is all the Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo bestie content fans have been gifted over the past few months. The latest exchange that has me like 😍? The sweet convo caught between Ari and Cynthia on the red carpet during the Wicked premiere in Mexico City.

At one point during the night, while Ari was grabbing some solo shots, she was approached by Cynthia, who seemed to fix her costar's hair. And luckily, TikTok's fave lip-reader @tismejackieg figured out exactly what went down during the moment.

Apparently, Cynthia noticed that Ari's hair was out of place, and she wasn't about to let her Glinda get caught like that. "I'm not gonna let you do that," she seemingly tells Ariana while brushing down some loose strands. "I'm putting your hair where it's supposed to go, gorgeous." Then she ended the exchange with three simple words before ducking back into the crowd: "I got you." Help, I'm obsessed with their friendship.

The end result? 10/10.

We also need to take a moment to appreciate Cynthia's Thom Browne look, which paid homage to actress Gale Sondergaard from the first concept of the Wicked Witch for the 1939 film.

Other cute moments scooped by TikToker Jackie Gonzalez include Ariana saying, "Love you!" to costar Jonathan Bailey in passing at the LA premiere, as well as another exchange (also at the LA premiere) where Ari asked photographers to take a pic of her and her fam as her dad proudly announced, "This is my daughter!"

Oh, and the runner-up for my favorite conversation: when Ari and Cynthia posed with Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel on the red carpet at the LA premiere and debated whether they were "smiling" or "serious." As Cynthia finally decided: "More sultry." (It seems Kristin didn't get the memo, but w/e!!)

Anyway, I'm in love with this cast and will be patiently standing by for a lip-reading between Ari and Ethan Slater.
