Archie Kao's rumoured girlfriend denies romance
25 Jan – Tuni Nguyen, a German-Vietnamese entrepreneur previously linked to Zhou Xun's ex-husband, Archie Kao, has recently denied any romance between them.
On 23 January, the social media influencer posted several Instagram Story addressing the said rumour, which sparked after Archie reposted a photo of him with her on social media.
Sharing a photo of herself, she wrote, "Since I got some Chinese and Vietnamese followers through that, I wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm Tuni. I'm 28 years old and I don't have a 24-year older boyfriend. Or any boyfriend. Probably because I'm that girl standing with a bowl of mashed potato at the bar."
She also revealed herself to be a digital marketing and branding agency funder who works with Chinese clients.
... also to comedian Nigel Ng's YouTube followers, she was also the girl who decided to go as Uncle Roger on Halloween in 2020.
She later took to IG Story yet again to laugh at what she called "fake news", writing, "At this point I had to call my grandma to let her know I am not my 52-year-old friend's new hot gf (and successful - I'm glad they added that part)."
Archie, who is most known to Asians for his role in CBS' show "CSI", tied the knot with mainland star Zhou Xun in 2014 after a whirlwind romance. Rumours of their divorce sparked several years later after fans noticed that the two were rarely seen together, until Zhou finally confirmed it in December 2020.
