After weeks of intense entrepreneurial testing and one round of brutal business plan scrutiny, The Apprentice has finally reached its epic conclusion and one lucky candidate can now call themselves Lord Sugar's new business partner.

With 18 ambitious candidates whittled down to just two hopefuls, earlier this week we found out who had come out on top after salon owner Rochelle Anthony and fitness entrepreneur Marnie Swindells went head to head.

While only one finalist can be crowned this year's winner, let's take a moment to revisit the brave candidates that didn't have the best time in the boardroom and ultimately heard the two words no apprentice ever wants to hear: "You're fired!" Plus, the one lucky candidate who heard the opposite.
