Here's how to apply for next year's Great British Bake Off
You can now apply to be on The Great British Bake Off 2021.
But you better be quick as the deadline for applications is Sunday 6th December 2020.
The Great British Bake Off might not have crowned its 2020 winner yet, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start thinking about next year’s crop of hopeful bakers.
Fans of the programme now have the opportunity to dazzle Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith in their own right, with applications currently being taken for what will be the show’s twelfth series in 2021.
Potential contestants can apply online here or you can email applyforbakeoff@loveproductions.co.uk if you'd like an application form posted to you.
If you fancy yourself as the next star baker, we'd advise getting started ASAP as the application process closes just before midnight on Sunday 6th December 2020.
The GBBO guys don't provide much info on the first form, but we do know from previous years that applicants will be expected to describe how varied their baking talents really are. They also previously asked potential contestants to share five images of their most creative bakes that should demonstrate a “range” of baking disciplines.
And it goes without saying that potential contestants should all be amateurs when it comes to baking and cooking.
