Anti-Racism Protesters March in Seattle on Election Night

Eight people were arrested in Seattle, Washington, on election night, November 3, as two groups marched in the city, Seattle Police said.

Local news reports said the marchers protested for racial justice and police reform, two platforms which speakers in each of the groups said neither Donald Trump nor Joe Biden would deliver on, the report said.

Footage filmed by KOMO journalist Jonathan Choe shows one group marching at the intersection of Pike and Broadway, followed by police units including over a dozen police officers on bicycles and at least one armored vehicle. Protesters were seen carrying “Black Lives Matter” flags.
