Anti-nuclear protest on Fukushima anniversary

Thursday marked the 10th anniversary since the devastating earthquake and tsunami which left more than 20,000 people dead or missing.

According to organizers, at least 650 people attended the protest, wearing masks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Mika Sakaguchi was one of the demonstrators who were expressing anger against TEPCO and the government on this day.

"The country is again trying to go ahead with the nuclear power plant policy. TEPCO and flocking interests are also trying to make money, and I am angry at all of them," she said.
