Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman are moving: Their New York City penthouse in a historic Neo-Georgian mansion is on the market for $3.495 million.

Located just steps from Central Park, the Upper West Side apartment features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A private key-locked elevator opens to a gallery that leads to the open-plan layout. The modern kitchen boasts concealed cabinetry, Lumix quartzite countertops, and a 30-inch electric range.

The living room, which has an ethanol fireplace, opens to the sprawling south-facing terrace. With indoor-outdoor living, a kitchen, lounging areas, and dining space for up to eight, the terrace is the perfect space to lounge and entertain. Inside the private wing, the master suite gets plenty of natural light. It has a skylight with electric shades and a walk-in closet. A freestanding tub is the centerpiece of the bathroom, which has heated floors.

Hathaway and her husband bought the apartment back in 2016 for $2.55 million. Recently, it’s been renovated with original and period moldings, new in-swing French casement windows, and white oak floors in a classic herringbone pattern.

Built around 1904, the building was one of the last private homes constructed on the Upper West Side. The lobby still has the original sweeping staircase, but now the building is a discreet co-op with five apartments.
