Ankle-Deep Water in Diyarbakir Home as Floods Hit Turkey

Flooding has claimed at least 14 lives in Turkey’s Sanliurfa and Adiyaman provinces, according to local news, with deluges also affecting neighboring provinces.

This footage, from Hayat Ekinci, shows ankle-deep floodwater in her home in Diyarbakir on March 15.

“We are waiting for all kinds of financial and moral support, so we are in a really difficult situation,” Ekinci told Storyful. “No item is able to be used.”
