Animals take over the streets of Delhi amidst COVID-19 lockdown in India

While human beings are confined to their homes due to the weekend lockdown across India, dogs, cows and birds were spotted freely roaming in the streets of Delhi. All key roads were blocked for public movement and only essential services are permitted. Delhi has recorded 20,181 new COVID cases on Saturday (January 8), the highest single-day rise since May last year. The capital city also reported 7 deaths over the last 24 hours.
