Animal Rescue Frees Raccoon With Head Stuck in Jar

Workers at an animal rescue center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, helped free a grape jelly-loving raccoon that got its head stuck in a glass jar.

Footage shared by the Humane Animal Rescue in Pittsburgh on June 9 shows a pliers being used to clip off the jar.

The raccoon shakes its head after being freed and does not appear to be injured.

“Hunger got the best of this little bandit when he found himself trapped in a jar,” the organisation wrote on Facebook.

“His head was really jammed in there, but our wildlife rehabbers were eventually able to save the day. We’re sure he’s very grape-ful for the help.” Credit: HumaneAnimalRescue.org via Storyful
