The newest update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been unveiled, and it's packed with features we're excited for.
The winter update – which will be available to download from Thursday, November 19 – finally adds the much-requested save transfer option, allowing players to move either their whole island or a resident over to a different Nintendo Switch.
As far as island life goes, November 26 will see your island celebrate Turkey Day as Franklin comes to visit. The turkey chef extraordinaire will ask for your help to gather ingredients while he cooks at the plaza.
On December 24 is Toy Day. This day sees reindeer character Jingle arrive with a large bag of gifts, and you'll be tasked with handing out presents to your fellow island residents.
Nook Miles can be spent on six new hairstyles (including an afro) as well as nine new reactions. Want to join your residents' workout or yoga sessions? You can now. One of these reactions also finally lets your character sit down on the ground!
Lastly, as hoarders, we've personally struggled with the item storage limit of 1,600. That problem has thankfully been alleviated with the maximum storage expanded to 2,400, if you ask Tom Nook.
Nintendo confirmed at the end of the video that there will be another free update coming in late January 2021.
Updates for the game over these past few months have introduced Halloween and fireworks events, plus diving, Captain Gullivarrr, dreams, and island back-ups.
